Last Wednesday afternoon, the same day as Hike and Bike to School Day, I was sitting in the doctor's office waiting room, flipping through a copy of WebMD the magazine. My thought, honestly, was that any kid at Woodbrook--or any other public school that participated in the national event--already knows what this. I mean, wasn't this kind of the whole idea behind Hike and Bike to School Day?
Of course, I do not mean this as any real indictment of the hard-hitting news the good folks at WebMD deliver. But maybe they can swing by an elementary school classroom if they are looking for more ideas of this caliber. :-P
