Starting tomorrow, we will have a new fixture in our classroom for the semester. 5-1 will have a cadet teacher--a high school senior interested in teaching--as a part of our afternoons. Mr. Chris Evanson will be helping me out in the afternoon, which means he will primarily be here for Math.
Chris was a student of mine, albeit a part-time one, back when the fifth grade teachers all split up the duties of teaching the various subjects. It makes me happy that he is choosing to come back home to Woodbrook during his senior year of high school.
