On Friday, the choir letters went home after last week's tryouts.
Next up on the docket is stage crew. Stage crew is something many students look forward to as they become fifth graders. Every year, she has more people sign up than she can possibly use. One of the ways she weeds people out is by asking us teachers if there is anyone on our lists who have already had troubles turning their work in on time. I know she also uses past behavior and other things like that to inform these decisions. In order to be a part of stage crew, you have to be responsible, able to take directions, and keep your mouth shut. (Being silent is an important part!)
If you think you would fit the bill, and if it sounds like something you would be interested in, make sure to sign up outside the music room this week. If you are lucky, you may be one of the chosen ones!
