Here are some pictures from last week when we were doing experiments with the microscopes. I was really impressed with how well the kids stuck to their experiments for the most part. I was really excited to get this unit going, but it was actually only the first few lessons involved in an overriding biology unit that will go throughout the rest of the school year.
We are going to also treat our Astronomy unit the same way. Next week, I think we are going to try to go outside and measure shadows to show how much higher the sun is now as opposed to the first day after daylight savings time.
