This one will have to be a quick shot for tonight, because we have a staff meeting after school today. Just letting you know that the kids do have spelling definitions to do for tomorrow. They do have to read 20 minutes, and they do have a math study link. They are also encouraged to study for their states and capitals quiz on Friday.
If I had very much hair to begin with, I would have pulled it out while grading those continents and oceans quizzes yesterday. As I told them today: the names of continents and oceans are proper nouns! I took a half point off for every time they didn't do that, but my hope is that this lesson will be put into practice on Friday with the states and capitals quiz.
