And the World Went White

Study Link 2.4 and 2x each for spelling tonight! That's it as far as homework goes. One thing to note, Math Class, is that it says "Study Link" in your assignment notebook, but it wasn't technically a study link. Still, the paper I handed out at the end of class is your homework.

Today we did a little bit of everything: from reading books with reading partners (I'm really excited about the books they're reading) to learning about solving mental math with a British super-spy. We also had a pretty serious talk about 9/11 today, eleven years after the day. Pretty harrowing stuff, and we all remember where we were, don't we?

The kids did a great job today with their bus evacuation drills. All of the kids on the buses are safer thanks to our fifth graders.

Here's this week's spelling list. I had a kid or two that didn't have it on them today:

blender
captive
category
figure
magnet
permit
popular
smuggle
stunt
fatigue
liquid
ribbon
