As I posted earlier, I did field a lot of questions from my Math class about honors testing. Before reading any further, I want to direct you all to my post on this blog last October. The kids had questions about the classes they will take in high school, and I assure everyone that they will not be limited as to what they can and can't do in high school based on what they took in the sixth grade. I realize this is what a lot of people think, but it's just not true.
I told the kids that the test is hard. I told them that there is no shame in not performing well on it.
