We are making a difference by teaming up to participate in
the American Cancer Society’s Relay
for Life in Carmel June 8 and 9, 2013. As you may know, the Woodbrook
family has been hit with cancer and cancer-related illnesses. We want to do our
part to support those that have lost loved ones, are battling cancer, are
giving care to those with cancer, and to those that are surviving cancer each
day!
Team Woodbrook has been involved in the Carmel Relay for
Life since the beginning under coordination of Mr. Carter. Last year, Maria
Saam (now Woodbrook graduate) wanted to captain the team. She is asking that
you join our Team!
At the event, our team will camp overnight and take turns
walking around the track to raise money and awareness, to help the American
Cancer Society create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. You can sign
up to walk at any time and for however long that you want, between Saturday
morning and Sunday morning. You do not have to camp but are more than welcome
to join us.
Please join our team. It only costs $10 to join and Maria
will be in touch to schedule your time to walk. If you are a survivor of
cancer, you can join our team for free and will receive extra perks throughout
the weekend. If you can’t make the weekend please consider making a donation to
Team Woodbrook. The
impact we can make together is much greater than what any of us could do alone!

Thanks,
Maria Saam (Woodbrook Graduate) and Julie Saam (her proud
Mom)
