Winter of Discontent

The first round of presentations for the state projects were today and the kids did great. Hopefully tomorrow's will be just as good. I feel like that project became very cumbersome the more it was drawn out, so I'm being a little lenient with the grades as long as they followed the guidelines they were given in writing two or three times.

In Math today, we did some area of a triangle and some multiplication of fractions. I have yet to take a look at their exit slips, but they seemed to get it for the most part.

Tomorrow we will have a Theme Test for Reading and a Caesar's English quiz. Everyone remember to wear your thinking caps.

Hola this is Ruby I'm doing better I have recently found out that I have strep throat :(
And at SCHOOL at Nurses office I almost fainted:(
Also I just found out that a strep test is where they poke the back of your throat with a Q-tip (that I wish I never Experienced )

Today has not been a good day

Luke. Nothing? Wow, thanks, buddy. That gives me the go-ahead to pack way more work and stuff into the day so that you'll be able to say we did "something" in school. I'd hate to think I'm boring you guys, you know...

And I got so animated and excited during Social Studies AND Math today. I tried so hard to make it interesting.

At least the Oregon presentation was a highlight.

Seriously, we miss you Ruby, but we'd rather you get healthy before coming back to school--we'd hate to have you faint in the classroom, after all.

Awe so cute
Also thank you Mr Carter I'm doing better and actually I didn't faint because I was sick( well maybe part of it was sickness). I fainted because my blood pressure was REALLY low so I had a couple of Capri Suns (the drink). And I was no longer only seeing spots but I did scare some going down to lunch I guess they never seen a person faint before or it's because I get pail when my blood sugar gets low ? :-l
