Up Close And Personal

For Science today, we studied worms. Seriously. We are getting ready to create terrariums for our anoles after spring break, but in the meantime, in the in between time, we have to set them up with soil, gravel, grass, earthworms, and crickets.

We discussed the importance of earthworms to creating fertile soil.

Today we took a very close-up look at an earthworm, and the kids drew their own worm diagrams complete with labels.

The plan is to continue the practice with crickets tomorrow.
