I ran across a quote the other day which I loved. According to The Indianapolis Star on Sunday, Neil Armstrong said:
I am, and ever will be, a white-socks, pocket-protector, nerdy engineer," Armstrong told the National Press Club in February 2000, "born under the second law of thermodynamics, steeped in steam tables, in love with free-body diagrams, transformed by Laplace, and propelled by compressible flow. The educator in me loves that the fact that we are celebrating the life of a brainy hero. Rest in peace, Neil Armstrong. Thanks for boldly going where no one had gone before.
