Okay, here we go. Now the infamous picture of the asparagus can live on forever. I drew it up on the board sometime last fall as a part of a math story problem about percentage discounts, we decided to try to leave it up there for the rest of the school year. Yesterday the time came to erase it, and I was laughing because it was actually kind of hard to erase a drawing of asparagus of all things.

Purple rubber bands make everything better.
I think the purple rubber bands are what made that picture work.
