Hey, there, folks! Mr. Carter chiming in here right after break just started.
I told the kids that they all need to have a new notebook to keep their journal writings in from now on. We're going to be doing more writing in class--some every day. Sometimes it will be a little, sometimes a lot, and sometimes it will be on the computer.
Also permission slips and money for BizTown are due on the Tuesday after break. The kids should have brought home these permission slips yesterday, but I know how that can go--especially when we give them out right before break like that.

Yes, yes, LOTS of writing. The more they write, the better they get at it.
How many computer labs do you have in your school? We have 5, but it's a junior high, and we're above the norm for number of labs in the average school in our district.
All blogs are blocked in our district, although many of my students (and a few parents) access by blog from home.
are you going to post over summer like you did last time? That was awesome.
