I want to give a huge thank you to all of the parents who came out for Colonial Days on Friday. You all made this the best Colonial Days in years now. I know I told several of you that in the last couple of years, it had slowly descended into chaos, with kids running back and forth when they were supposed to be at their spot. This year, with Mrs. Brink and her cowbell keeping everyone where they needed to be until that bell sounded, we had a well-oiled machine on our hands. Thanks to all of your efforts, it felt like Colonial Days back in 2004! (That sentence doesn't make much sense, does it?) Mrs. Brink really went above and beyond this year.
Thank you shout outs to Mrs. Alderman, Mrs. Arbuckle, Mr. and Mrs. Bintrim, Mrs. Callahan, Mrs. Harrington, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Ohrvall, Mrs. Pletcher, Mrs. Rodgers, Mrs. Smart, Mrs. Sveen, Mrs. Thompson, and Mrs. Williams for being there that day. Mrs. Bintrim and Mrs. Callahan actually took the day off of teaching to come back in to Woodbrook and teach for Colonial Days; how's that for dedication? I know they weren't they only ones who took off of work, either, so everyone please know that your efforts were greatly appreciated.
