Aaaagggh!
Alert reader Mrs. Stephenson just pointed out that my post from a couple days ago, in which I stated that there would be no choir tomorrow in case of delay (ANY minute now, Dr. Wahl! We're waiting...) was incorrect. Mrs. Ratner's note home stated not that there would be no choir in case of delay, but that the practice itself would merely be delayed by two hours to 9:15am instead of 7:15am.
That's what I get for posting from a note I glanced at from memory.
Sorry, Mrs. Ratner! I hope 5-1 has a decent showing despite my poor communication skills.
