Above is a shot of the states and capitals that the kids will have to know for Friday's quiz. Just in case they are missing theirs, I made a few extras, and now you have a copy above.
One thing we did today is work with large relief maps, seemingly from the 1960s. The kids worked with partners to answer questions relating to maps. Chapter one in Social Studies is a chapter that I don't really do a test over, but I just check in on their understanding with activities like this.
