ISTEP is over (for now) and I was happy when I realized that the timing coincided with our water bottle getting filled up with behavior shapes, because that meant we got to stop after the testing was over and kick back with a movie. As you can see, we watched the Lego Movie, much to the delight of all the Lego enthusiasts of 5-1. They are legion.
I told the kids that next Monday I will have a calendar for them for their research projects with due dates galore. This project will be almost entirely done in school unless we have someone get behind on their scheduling.
Next week we will return to spelling lists and nightly homework, so my hope is that the kids were able to enjoy their little break for the week.
