I told the kids before they went home today about the speech I gave you parents on the first day of school: Let them fail. I told them that it's not your job to make sure they have their things or that they've studied for quizzes and tests. I told them that some of you would be more than pleased to study with them, especially if they've gone out of their way to make flashcards or have a filled-out study guide!
We got to enjoy the kindergarten parade this afternoon--all of them looked so good and elderly as they passed through the halls dressed up as 100-year-olds for the 100th day of school. (Can't believe it. Crazy.)
I hope everyone has a great night and I will look forward to seeing your little cherubs tomorrow.
