After school today I received word that this Wednesday--Jump Rope for Heart Day--is also scheduling day for the middle school. That means the counselors from Clay are coming over to Woodbrook to talk to the fifth graders about setting up their classes for (sniffle) next year.
They will answer questions from good to absurd, but then the kids will bring the materials home so that they can actually make the decisions with you.
Wednesday will be quite the hump to get over this week, but only on the teacher's front. Send your kids to school in comfy clothes that your child will get nasty and sweaty, and then look for the middle school materials when they get home that evening.
Other than that, it's business as usual.
